GOAL: Host Six Educational Opportunities
We exceeded our 2024 goal by doubling the number of educational programs we hosted. This year, we organized 12 educational opportunities, reaching 545 people and providing valuable learning experiences for farmers, food producers, and community members.

Provided crucial support to small to mid-sized, beginning, specialty crop, and organic growers who often lack access to federal crop insurance programs.




Educational Partnerships:
Partnered with Vanderbilt University as a community partner
for its master’s course on Program Evaluation.Collaborated with Belmont University on its undergraduate
Environmental Communications course, focusing on agriculture.Partnered with Feedback Nashville & The Nashville Food Project to host six panels on The Future of Food in Nashville
Worked with Southeast Young Farmers Coalition to host a virtual webinar and in-person event on Coordinated Production Planning.
Presented on the importance of local food systems at Belmont University, Ruby’s Happy Farm, and St. Augustine’s Methodist Church.
