Virtual Info Session with 1000 Farms Initiative

Join Us for an Info Session on the 1000 Farms Initiative!

We’re excited to invite you to an Informational Session about one of the most ambitious agroecology experiments ever conducted: The 1000 Farms Initiative. As Ecdysis wraps up its third year of groundbreaking research, they’re gearing up for Year 4—and they want YOU to be a part of this transformational journey.

Why Should You Join?

The 1000 Farms Initiative is revolutionizing the way we think about agriculture. By gathering critical data from farms across North America, Ecdysis is showcasing the incredible potential of regenerative practices to transform our food system and protect the planet. With over 1,284 farms already participating, this is your opportunity to learn from real-world examples and cutting-edge research.

What’s in Store for 2025?

For 2025, Ecdysis is focusing on Tennessee farms—measuring soil health, water dynamics, microbial life, invertebrates, birds, plant diversity, yields/nutrition, and socioeconomics. The best part? All data is shared back with the farmers for free, providing around $7,500 worth of invaluable information—fully contextualized to help improve farm practices.

Ecdysis is recruiting 20-25 TN farms to form a cluster, including regenerative, organic, transitioning, and conventional farmers open to exploring new methods. They are looking for a diverse mix of farms to join the effort!

How to Get Involved

If you're interested in participating in this free, cutting-edge research, join us at our Informational Session on May 20th. You'll learn more about this incredible opportunity and how you can get involved. You can also visit their website or sign up to participate right away.
