APPLY: Regenerative Grazing Mentorships
Do you have a farm in TN/KY? Do you fall into the USDA’s definition of a “Historically Underserved Farmer”, a “Beginning Farmer”, Or a Veteran Farmer?
Randall Tomlinson is offering free grazing and pasture management mentorships to farmers in Tennessee and Kentucky. This mentorship includes: in-person pasture walks, by-phone consultations, infrastructure inventory and planning, and a grazing plan.
This mentorship is great for:
Folks looking to take the next step into farming full-time but struggle with consistent profitability in their grazing operation.
Folks with an existing cattle/small ruminant operation that they wish was profitable or more profitable.
Folks who want to be in more control of the operating costs of their grazing operation.
Folks who feel as if their soil health, forage health, and/or cattle productivity have plateaued.
Folks who are serious about grazing this upcoming season, but would feel more confident with an experienced guide.
Landowners and stewards who want to make their land open and available for regenerative farming practices, but don’t know where to start.
Randall Tomlinson is a practitioner of regenerative agriculture with 13 years of practical experience. His experience has focused on low-input and high-resiliency models of rotational management. He has experience working with beef, dairy, small ruminants, poultry, and pigs on small acreages and large.
These mentorships are made possible and free through a grant issued by National Grazing Lands Coalition and Greg Brann: Synergistic Grazing Consulting
