APPLY: Regenerative Grazing Mentorships

Do you have a farm in TN/KY?  Do you fall into the USDA’s definition of a “Historically Underserved Farmer”, a “Beginning Farmer”, Or a Veteran Farmer?

Randall Tomlinson is offering free grazing and pasture management mentorships to farmers in Tennessee and Kentucky.  This mentorship includes: in-person pasture walks, by-phone consultations, infrastructure inventory and planning, and a grazing plan.

This mentorship is great for:

  • Folks looking to take the next step into farming full-time but struggle with consistent profitability in their grazing operation.

  • Folks with an existing cattle/small ruminant operation that they wish was profitable or more profitable.

  • Folks who want to be in more control of the operating costs of their grazing operation.

  • Folks who feel as if their soil health, forage health, and/or cattle productivity have plateaued.

  • Folks who are serious about grazing this upcoming season, but would feel more confident with an experienced guide.

  • Landowners and stewards who want to make their land open and available for regenerative farming practices, but don’t know where to start.

Randall Tomlinson is a practitioner of regenerative agriculture with 13 years of practical experience.  His experience has focused on low-input and high-resiliency models of rotational management.  He has experience working with beef, dairy, small ruminants, poultry, and pigs on small acreages and large.

These mentorships are made possible and free through a grant issued by National Grazing Lands Coalition and Greg Brann: Synergistic Grazing Consulting
